Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Research executive will support and be partly responsible for:

  • Developing accurate and efficient tools to be used in surveys that are to be carried out
  • Developing training schedule and training notes
  • Extensively reviewing literature
  • Data collection
  • Support data entry, processing, analysis and validation.
  • Representing and making presentations on behalf of the organization from time to time at event
  • Assisting in creation of work plans and timelines
  • Working with teams to find solutions to risks and issues and reduce risk and work with stakeholders on appropriate solutions as and when required.
  • Support in planning of events and conferences
  • Assisting in organizing workshops

Technical and Behavioral competencies

  • Passionate about development transformation in Nigeria.
  • Organized and able to lead physical and virtual teams.
  • Willing to work and learn.
  • Team player with strong leadership skills and networking skills and able to build value as required.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team with respect for diversity.

Experience/ Qualification

  • Degree in economics or development related field from an accredited university (possession of a Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 2 -3 years of cognate experience in the development sector, research, Education, policy advocacy.
  • Multilingual speaker desirably French Language.
