HR Associate

As an HR Associate, you will support human resource management, talent development, and staff engagement. You will play a central role in recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations to ensure a motivated and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
    1. Maintain HR records and employee databases.
    1. Assist in drafting HR policies and procedures.
    1. Support staff welfare, performance reviews, and professional development.
    1. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

General Requirements (All Associates)

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
    1. 1–3 years of relevant work experience (consulting, nonprofit, or private sector).
    1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    1. Proficiency in MS Office and digital collaboration tools.
    1. Ability to work independently and deliver results remotely.
    1. Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and impact-driven work.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. This role is based at HENAK CONSULTING’s Abuja office (onsite), with regular working hours.
    1. Fully remote role (with periodic physical retreats or client meetings if required).
    1. Flexible work hours based on deliverables.
    1. Requires a personal laptop and strong internet access.
    1. Willingness to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    1. Occasional weekend work may be required based on client priorities.
