Job Summary
- We’re looking for a Design Associate to help bring Ruebits’ ideas, stories, programmes, and campaigns to life visually. Your work will often be the first thing people see the reason a story stops someone mid-scroll, the reason a campaign feels worth sharing, the reason a child’s activity sheet feels fun instead of like homework.
You’ll contribute to:
- Social & campaign design — Creating graphics, campaign materials, and visual assets for social media and digital platforms
- Educational resources — Designing activity guides, learning materials, and child-friendly educational content
- Event & programme visuals — Producing visuals for camps, outreaches, events, and ongoing programmes
- Presentations & publications — Designing decks, reports, and other polished materials for internal and external use
- Visual concepts — Developing fresh visual ideas that make Ruebits’ work engaging, memorable, and easy to understand
- Brand consistency — Applying Ruebits’ brand identity (colours, typography, style) consistently across every asset you touch
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar)
- A strong eye for detail, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy
- A portfolio or past work samples showing your design range and style (required)
- Comfortable working within brand guidelines while still bringing creative ideas to the table
- Bonus: experience designing for children’s content, faith-based content, or social-impact organisations
- A genuine heart for children and alignment with Ruebits’ Christian values and mission
- Reliable, deadline-conscious, and open to feedback and revisions
