REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ)

Qualified Bidders are being invited by EL- EZHAR CARE INITIATIVE for the Supply of Livestock, nutrition, animal health products and pharmaceuticals in Yola, Adamawa State.
The submission for this RFQ should include:
- The original copy of the bid form filled out appropriately and signed.
- All papers (including this bid document) completed in English, with the bidder’s signature/stamp on each page
- An introductory letter on the company’s business letterhead
- The RFQ should also be on the company’s business letterhead.
- A copy of the legal representative’s identification document, ideally an overseas passport, voter card, national identification document, or driver’s licence
A copy of his registration at the pertinent Chamber of Commerce, as well as a document proving his eligibility and quality from the appropriate government agency
- Proof of tax registration and the most current certificate of tax clearing
Note for bidders:
- Delivery of Services shall take place in El- Ezhar Care Foundation Yola Head
Office located at Zaranda Street opposite Yayaji House Jimeta-Yola Adamawa State.
- When placing a bid, a copy of Company’s Cooperate Affair Commission (CAC) registration paperwork must be sent in.

- Naira (NGN), which is hereby designated as the contractual currency for this Rfq.
- The El- Ezhar Care Foundation will pay the selected applicant by check or bank transfer on the El- Ezhar Care Foundation grounds.
- The El- Ezhar Care Foundation retains the right to request verification from any financial or security authorities, as well as from the bidder’s prior employers.
SELECTION CRITERIA

For the purpose of choosing the bidder, ECI will do a technical study based on the factors listed below, which are prioritised in order of significance.
- Technical Specification and Quality
Technical specifications and quality will be the foremost factors taken into account by ECI when choosing a provider. FAIL/PASS criteria will be used to base the technical check. In the event that a provider falls short of the required level of quality. ECI will reject the proposal.
- Reasonable Pricing
The second factor that ECI will take into account when choosing the most competitive supplier is pricing. Since the contract currency will be in Nigerian Naira (NGN), tenderers must quote in NGN.
- Lead time
Suppliers who propose a short and suitable lead time will be given priority.
- Previous Activities
Suppliers having documented prior experience, ideally with national or international organisations, will be given priority. (e.g., comparable operations regions, comparable value contracts, etc.).
General Conditions:
- The request for quotation (RFQ) start date is the 19th of May, 2025, and closes on May 25th, 2025, at 5.00pm at the Yola Office, located at the following address:
Zaranda Street, opposite Yayaji House, Jimeta-Yola, Adamawa State.

- In accordance with the ECI format, bidders should complete, sign/stamp, and return the offer form.
- No contract will be awarded in response to the offer made in response to the call for bids.
- We won’t entertain late bids past the time mentioned above.

- Each participating company will be allowed to submit one final offer to ECI. Following the submission of their initial offer but before the closing date, vendors should indicate in their email if they intend to make an amended offer.
- Every bid must have the following details: phone number, email address, representative signature and the company’s unique company name on the stamp. The bid may be rejected if there are any irregularities.
Offer the will not be deemed eligible if:
Hand price adjustment/white ink is utilized.
- Document has no signature /stamp.
NOTE
All contract offers are contingent on the condition that contractors do not appear on anti-terrorism lists in accordance with ECI donor compliance policy guarantee that funds are utilised solely for humanitarian objectives and in conformity with donor compliance standards. In light of this, ECI maintains the authority to conduct anti-terrorism background checks on the contractor, as well as on its board members, employees, volunteers, consultants, financial service providers, and subcontractors. ECI is also dedicated to upholding the greatest standards of effectiveness, accountability, and openness in its operations and takes a zero-tolerance stance against corruption and sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).
