The Integrated Women and Youth Empowerment Centre (IWAYEC) is a non-governmental, nonprofit, non-religious, and non-political organization dedicated to the holistic empowerment of women, youths, orphans, and vulnerable children. Our mission is to create sustainable impact through programs that uplift the lives of our target groups. We focus on building capacity, providing trauma healing, and offering rehabilitation and training in diverse skills, enabling our beneficiaries to actively contribute to national development programs. We are excited to announce volunteer opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking volunteers for the following position:
Food Security and Livelihood Officer (Volunteer)
Role: Design and implement strategies to enhance food security and improve livelihood opportunities for our target groups.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage agricultural and livelihood projects.
Conduct needs assessments and identify appropriate interventions.
Provide training and support to beneficiaries in sustainable farming practices and income-generating activities.
Qualifications:
Background in agriculture, economics, or related fields.
Experience in project management and community development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
