Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate the Nigerian and British curricula with the Montessori methodology.
- Create a stimulating and Christ-centered learning environment that fosters intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
- Utilize differentiated instruction to cater to the individual needs of each student.
- Effectively assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Uphold the Christian values and mission of the school.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Nigerian Teachers Registration Council (TRCN) certification and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (preferred) or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching in a nursery or primary school setting (3+ years).
- A strong understanding of the Nigerian and British curricula.
- In-depth knowledge and experience applying the Montessori methodology.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- A passion for child development and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in a Christian environment.
- Fluency in English language.
