JOB DESCRIPTION

The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day commuting of staff to outreaches, fieldwork and community engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain vehicles with a focus on safety and passenger courtesy.
• Manage the loading and unloading activities of activity materials as guided by the outreach team lead.
• Read and interpret maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient route services.
• Ensures proper cleanliness, maintenance, servicing repair and safe keeping of the vehicle
• Comply with road safety laws and regulations.
• Fill up the vehicle logbook and submit on a regular basis to the Supervisor.
• Ensure all vehicle faults are appropriately reported and promptly resolved.
• Ensure that tool kits are in vehicle and are complete.

Ensure policies regarding the security of vehicles are followed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES  

• Strong time keeping skills with the ability to plan based on traffic diversions and weather delays.   
• A high level of personal presentation and communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.  
• Ability to prioritize effectively. 
• Initiative to solve problems and deal with complaints in a positive and diplomatic manner. 
• Basic administrative skills to update vehicle records, submit online bookings requests and safety incident forms where necessary.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 2-years driving experience.
• Minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
• Extensive knowledge of the operating area-Lagos.
• Experience working in a corporate organization.
• Good verbal communication and basic use of Microsoft application.
• Proficiency using GPS devices.

Compensation:

Annual gross pay is between N900,000.00 and N1,033,000.00
