ECEWS is implementing a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded project aimed at Delivering Comprehensive and Sustainable HIV/AIDS Clinical and Community Services to achieve HIV epidemic control in sub-National units of Delta, Osun and Ekiti States in Nigeria under PEPFAR and the Accelerating Control for HIV Epidemic Project (ACE) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Akwa Ibom & Cross River States targeted at achieving epidemic control thereby reducing transmission and improving the quality of life of those living with HIV.

Job Description
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial systems implementation, budgeting, expenditure tracking, financial reporting and accounting; and subaward management.
- Developing a USAID compliant Financial Management and Reporting system and ensures effective internal control measures for the award;
- Preparing and submitting monthly invoices and other financial reports as required, and overseeing USAID-required audits; producing financial and budget reports,
- Developing procedures and guidelines for all activities, monitoring project budgets, maintaining accurate financial records on project activities, monitoring transactions to ensure compliance with USAID-regulations.
- Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Minimum Recruitment Standard
- Post-graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related field relevant to the position requirements.
- Possess a professional certification of ICAN or ACCA.
- Progressive experience in administrative and financial management of large complex projects
- At least 8 (eight) years’ experiences in the field of international development including experience in management of USG funded projects
- Show track records in developing and managing large budgets.
- The candidate should have familiarity with compliance to Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- Progressive demonstrated experience supervising project operations, including human resources, procurement, subcontracts or sub-awards, audits, and accounting/finance.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills; and ability to work on team
- Ability to solve problems, exercising good judgement will be an asset.
- Must be of good character with proven impeccable integrity.
- Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
