Job Details
- Implement BOWDI’s Safety and Security Policies and guidelines in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa State.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments (SRA) of BOWDI offices, Guest Houses to implement mitigation measures guided by the MOSS standards. and conduct other rapid SRA on need basis.
- Ensure mitigation action plan are budgeted for and implemented.
- Conduct Safety and Security Briefing and Induction to all staff, new hired and visitors to All BOWDI new hires.
- Keep recorded of all briefing conducted following the informed consent guideline.
- Supervise contracted security guards and act as liaison with the security guard company
management. - Ensure that all incidents impacting BOWDI staff, assets and programs in all areas of implementation are reported and documented.
- Develop a staff travel tracking system in collaboration with the Logistics Team in Maiduguri Head Office.
- Liaise with UN agencies, NGOs and other external actors for the purposes of information sharing and collaboration in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa State.
- Collate and prepare a weekly security report of BAY States and submitting to Executive Director. This will also include conduct regular conflict and violence analysis/research in the areas of implementation and submitting findings to Executive Director.
- Work closely with Field team to report, track and monitor access challenges, enablers and constraints.
- Attend Safety and Security roundtable discussion as organized by INGOs, PLSO, and UN agencies and make contributions where necessary.
