Job Responsibilities for Monitoring Evaluation and Accountability Lead

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework.
  • Monitoring all project activities, and progress towards achieving the project output; Design and manage gender-disaggregated beneficiary monitoring and database systems.
  • Develop and periodically review logical frame work including impact indicator for the project success.
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results
  • Provide feedback to project manager on project strategies and activities.
  • Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual progress on all project activities to the project manager.
  • Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system.
  • Provide inputs, information and statistics on periodic basis to the project team.
  • Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the project manager in preparing relevant reports
  • Assist in coordinating across the available components of the project to ensure effective implementation of M&E/MIS.

Job Qualifications for Monitoring Evaluation and Accountability Lead

   Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Economics, Social science, Statistics, Public Policy, International Development, or related field. A Master’s degree will be preferred but not a compulsory requirement Applicants must also be based in Abuja.

Experience:

  • At least 2years of work experience in the design and implementation of M&E activities including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Experience in the education sector projects will be valuable
  • Proven ability to manage research data and databases including analyzing and reporting data
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively and interdependently
  • Technical knowledge and experience in implementation of gender-responsive approach
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis  and production of reports
  • Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software
  • Expertise in analysing data using statistical software
  • Demonstrated experience in using data to inform decision-making, planning and project performance monitoring and evaluation.
