Key Responsibilities
- Support comprehensive documentation of Gombe State’s Biometric Attendance Tracking System implementation, ensuring lessons learned, challenges, and successes are accurately captured and synthesized for broader workforce reform efforts.
- Coordinate and co-facilitate multi-sector documentation workshops, including logistics management, participant engagement, preparation of materials, and real-time documentation of proceedings.
- Capture and systematize workshop outputs, including notes, breakout group discussions, flipcharts, timelines, problem trees, and visioning exercises- into organized digital formats suitable for case study development.
- Create and maintain a structured digital repository of all workshop materials, reference documents, session notes, and supporting artifacts for use by the Lead Consultant and project stakeholders.
- Conduct and support Key Informant Interviews, including scheduling interviews, managing communication logistics, conducting assigned interviews with mid-level stakeholders, producing accurate verbatim transcripts, and developing preliminary thematic summaries.
- Draft assigned sections of the case study, ensuring content quality, alignment with the agreed structure, accuracy of figures and tables, and appropriate use of references and citations.
- Verify data across workshop outputs, KIIs, literature, and government documents to ensure accuracy and coherence; compile data tables, timelines, and figures as required.
- Format all written products to a professional standard, ensuring consistent styling, numbering, structure, and adherence to project documentation guidelines.
- Develop three high-quality success stories drawing on KIIs and field insights, and coordinate with stakeholders to gather quotes, permissions, photographs, and supplementary materials.
- Support validation workshop activities by coordinating logistics, documenting proceedings, capturing stakeholder feedback, and organizing comments into a structured tracking tool for integration into the final report.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Advanced degree in Knowledge Management, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of five 5 years of relevant experience in knowledge management, documentation, research, or learning for development projects.
- Proven experience supporting workshops, qualitative research, and Key Informant Interviews.
