Role Description

  • This is a full-time hybrid Finance Officer role based in Lagos.
  • The Finance Officer will be responsible for financial reporting, analyzing financial statements, and maintaining financial records.
  • The Finance Officer will also be responsible for communication between the organization and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills, Finance, and Financial Reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
  • Experience working in the non-profit sector is a plus
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting procedures and practices
  • Experience using accounting ERP solution packages; and QuickBooks.

  • Cash flow Management
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Financial Data Analyzing & Interpretation
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Financial Control & Audit
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and theories
  • Proficient in Word processing and Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • ICAN or ACA is an added advantage.
