POSITION OVERVIEW
The Program Officer will support the program team in communicating with field partners and reviewing, evaluating, funding, and monitoring grassroots projects. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in working with an NGO and will share the vision of the charity to effect and lead change. The candidate should also possess key issue area expertise in at least education or health matters as it affects vulnerable persons.
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Previous NGO experience
Desired
- Analytical skills, report writing skills, experience in processing grant applications, excellent time management and interpersonal skills and dedication to promoting grassroots development.
- Ability to work well with culturally and geographically diverse staff, partners and stakeholders
- Adaptable to remote working
Responsibilities
- Grow the existing organisation network of strategic partners
- Maintain strong relationships with project partners
- Routinely process grant applications and lead the review and evaluation of projects.
- Content management and development for HopeLiveHeal’s website, social media, events, email newsletters, and other materials.
- Support organization-wide activities, events, and campaigns actively and as needed
- Occasional travel to supervise and monitor projects
Salary – Starting at N50,000 and reviewed after 3 months
