Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and organised Business Development & Project Coordinator to support business growth, partnership development, proposal writing, project coordination, grant opportunities, and stakeholder engagement.
  • The ideal candidate should have previous NGO experience, strong proposal-writing skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to represent the organisation professionally during meetings and external engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop partnership, sponsorship, grant, and business opportunities.
  • Research and engage potential corporate partners, NGOs, foundations, government, agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare professional business proposals, project proposals, concept notes, grant applications, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate assigned projects, programmes, workshops, and stakeholder activities.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Conduct outreach and follow up with prospective partners and organisations.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Represent the organisation professionally at meetings and official engagements.
  • Maintain proper records of proposals, contacts, projects, meetings, and partnerships.
  • Conduct research and provide business development insights to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience in Business Development, Project Coordination, NGO/Nonprofit Operations, Partnerships, or a similar role.
  • Previous NGO experience is required.
  • ND, HND, or B.Sc. in a relevant field.
  • Strong proposal and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of NGO operations, partnerships, and project coordination.
  • Grant/proposal development experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, confident, and presentable.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Male candidate
  • Must reside around Aja, Abijo, Awoyaya, or nearby areas.
  • Must be able to commute conveniently to Abijo G.R.A when physical attendance is required.
  • Must be comfortable representing the organisation professionally.

Work Arrangement:

  • The role is primarily remote/hybrid, with the successful candidate working from home three times a week.
  • Physical attendance will be required when there are visitors, meetings, project activities, or official engagements. The candidate may also be required to represent the organisation at external meetings when necessary.

Salary
N50,000 monthly.
