Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership.
- Oversee the operations and all services for the students, staff, and families at the Centre.
- Oversee curriculum development.
- Assure that all students receive their services.
- Coordinate and supervise all staff.
- Coordinate students’ assessments
- Manage resources and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
- Research and apply for grants and support for the foundation.
- Work closely with and foster a positive and effective relationship with staff, families and the community.
- Plan, organize and direct variety of programs, projects and activities related to special education and support programs including activities for disabilities awareness.
- Maintain a safe and conducive learning and teaching environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Must have the ability to work independently without supervision.
Qualifications:·
- Must have a University Degree
- Have organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have teaching and/or Special Education experience.
- Have knowledge in areas of Behavior Intervention
