A-Goal Initiative (A-Goal) is an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit organization dedicated to promoting inclusive governance, enhancing public service delivery, improving public accountability, and fostering civic engagement in Nigeria.
As a dynamic and innovative platform, A-Goal serves as a centre for public education on governance. It leverages technology to generate essential data and insights to inform evidence-based advocacy, drive practice change, and support reforms that promote inclusive and responsive governance in Nigeria. We also develop personalized metrics to track and measure responses of public institutions to public sentiments and feedback.

About the role
- Young Civic Volunteers support A-Goal Initiative in advancing its civic work. You will support our governance education and civic participation efforts, bring your community’s perspectives into our work, and learn how civic organising can contribute to meaningful community change.
- You do not need previous experience. What matters is a genuine interest in how Nigeria is governed, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to seeing your tasks through.
What you will do
- Support A-Goal campaigns and civic education activities online.
- Share accurate information about governance and public services with your networks and community.
- Contribute ideas, feedback and community perspectives to our programmes.
- Help with research, outreach and content tasks as they come up.
Who we are looking for
- Young people with an interest in civic issues, governance, democracy, public service delivery and accountability, human rights or community development, who are willing to learn and contribute to A-Goal Initiative’s programmes.
- Good communication and basic digital skills.
It helps if you have:
- Previous volunteering, community engagement or civic participation. It is an advantage, but not required.
