Hope and Rural Aid Foundation (HARAF) is a National Non-Governmental organisation focused on Humanitarian and developmental response program in Nigeria, with thematic areas across CCCM/Sheter-NFIs, Education, Food Security and Livelihood and Protection.
HARAF works with an excited team to deliver on its humanitarian and development efforts while supporting staff professional development.
HARAF is seeking qualified candidates for opportunities at Gombi and Hong LGAs of Adamawa State.
Site Facilitators
- Facilitate communication and coordination between camp residents, humanitarian agencies, and local authorities.
- Provide information to camp residents on available services, activities, and assistance programs.
- Conduct outreach activities to promote community participation and engagement.
- Identify and refer vulnerable individuals and families for assistance and support services.
- Monitor the safety, security, and well-being of camp residents, reporting concerns and incidents as necessary.
- Support in organizing community meetings, focus group discussions, and feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborate with camp management and other stakeholders to address community needs and concerns.
Qualifications and Experience for all Positions
• Relevant experience for the different roles and demonstration of capacity to hold the position.
• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or its equivalent preferably with social sciences.
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to working in conflict affected communities.
• Fluency in English and excellent writing skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Fair monitoring and evaluation skills/experience.
• Knowledge of project cycle management.
• Deep knowledge of the environment.
