Job Description:
1. Programme Implementation:
- Assist in planning, development and implementation of the project
- Assist the development and implementation of research and data collection processes
2. Programme Administration:
- Lead the execution of day-to-day activities for projects
- Lead the documentation process for internal and external reporting and record-keeping.
3. External Relations and Communications:
Support SDN to build relationships that are key to promoting stability and development in the Niger Delta.
4. Research Briefs:
Lead to identify research areas related to security and governance, and develop research methodologies.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, or related field. A Master’s degree in a similar field is desirable.
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position is essential
- Knowledge of the political and socio-economic dynamics in the Niger Delta region is essential.
