Zenith Of the Girl Child and Women Initiative Support is a leading girls and women’s rights organization that promotes gender equality, reaching the most vulnerable, and promoting meaningful inclusion. The organization is a registered non-profit, non-governmental female/youth-led organization that aims to prevent and protect women and girls against all forms of gender-based violence, abuse, and discrimination. Zenith of the Girl Child and Women Initiative Support advocates and influence policies in favor of women and girls. ZEGCAWIS create awareness and sensitize communities on the Sexual and reproductive Health rights, prevention of sexual and all forms of gender-based violence information and response services. ZEGCAWIS has been in existence since 2016, it became officially registered with cooperate affairs commission in Nigeria 2018. Working together with Relevant stake holders, women, young people, supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, where women and girls as well children’s Right will be protected and supported, a world where everyone will have equal access to opportunities, economic empowerment and be treated with respect and dignity irrespective of their sex, gender, Race and religion differences.

PEER GROUP EDUCATOR (PGE)
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Location: Kaga, Jere, Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC), Damboa and Chibok LGAs.
Duration of assignment: 6 months (with a possibility of renewal based on performance).
Scope of Work
ZEGCAWIS is seeking efficient peer educator will work closely with the programs coordinator, he/she is expected to facilitate workshops, provide mentorship, offer support and resources, engage in activities such as training sessions, one on one discussions, and to generally promote awareness on relevant menstrual hygiene management issues assigned to by the programs coordinator.
Responsibilities
· He/She will be responsible for conducting peer-to-peer sessions with women/girls in the community on menstrual hygiene management.
· Support the club members in developing advocacy note for ‘freepadforgirls’ in the case of stakeholder visits.
· Work closely with the media and partnership coordinator to create linkage between the club members and media stations
· Coaching the club members on advocacy and stakeholder engagements
· Conduct awareness and dialogue sessions to discuss and make referrals on menstrual hygiene issues for necessary actions.
· Will include the four categories of people in the community; that’s the men and women as well as the boys and girls during dialogue sessions, awareness, and sensitization

· Must have an android device.

Education
Diploma, HND, Bachelor degree is an added advantage.
