Job Title: Cleaner- Office Assistants
Contract Duration: 11 Months
Locations: Adamawa (Madagali LGA) and Yobe (Jakusko and Bursari LGA’s)

Role Purpose

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood and enable children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge. For over 80 years we have been building powerful partnerships for children, and we are active in over 75 countries.
Dimensions of the Role
The post holder will provide office support services which will include cleaning the office and attending to staff routine errand request.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleans hospital rooms including bathrooms, milk room, stores, offices, halls, and other areas.
- Washes beds and mattresses, and remakes beds after dismissal of patients.
- Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
- Distributes laundered articles and linens on admission and discharge 5. Replaces soiled drapes and cubicle curtains.
- Performs other duties as maybe required.
- May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
Selection criteria:
▪ Applicants must be over the age of 18 years
▪ Candidates must be from their own community (To Work in their community).
▪ Literacy level – Primary school certificate at minimum
▪ Respectable /Acceptable community member
▪ Able to speak Local languages
▪ Willing and motivated to work for the health of their Community. ▪ Availability, punctuality, participation and comportment
▪ Must not be linked to any armed group or forces.
▪ Committed to Plan International’s Child Protection policy.
