Your Role:
- Implement M&E plans, frameworks, and tools for the SHIFT Project in Adamawa State.
- Collect, validate, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from health facilities, communities, and project activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project outputs, outcomes, and impact to management and donors.
- Conduct routine field visits to monitor project implementation and assess data quality.
- Support the capacity building of programme and field staff on M&E processes and data collection methods.
- Identify gaps, trends, and lessons learned to inform programme improvements and decision-making.
- Collaborate with partners, government agencies, and health facilities to ensure harmonized M&E practices.
- Contribute to research, surveys, and evaluation activities as required by the project.
- Ensure compliance with donor reporting standards and organisational policies.
What You Bring:
- Strong experience in monitoring and evaluation of health or development projects, preferably in SRHR, family planning, or youth programmes.
- Ability to work effectively with programme teams, government health officials, and community partners.
- Excellent data collection, analysis, and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of M&E frameworks, tools, and indicators relevant to SRHR projects.
- Strong organisational, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Capacity to train and mentor staff on M&E processes.
- Commitment to results-based management and accountability in project implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in M&E, preferably in NGO, donor-funded, or SRHR projects.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Stata, DHIS2).
- Strong understanding of SRHR policies, health systems, and development frameworks in Nigeria.
- Ability to work independently and in field-based settings, with frequent travel within Adamawa State.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
