INTERN
We are inviting applications for six internship positions:
- Program Intern
- Finance Intern
- HR Intern
- Research Intern
- Marketing Intern
- Communications Intern Purpose of the Internship
The internship program is designed to provide young professionals and students with hands-on experience in consulting, project management, and organizational support. Interns will gain exposure to real projects, contribute to client-facing deliverables, and develop critical professional skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities (General for All Interns)
- Support project teams in planning, coordination, and reporting.
- Assist in research, data collection, and preparation of presentations/reports.
- Provide administrative and communications support for meetings, workshops, and events.
- Contribute to knowledge management, documentation, and social media visibility.
- Perform role-specific tasks (see below).
Role-Specific Examples:
- Program Intern: Assist in project design, implementation tracking, and report writing.
- Finance Intern: Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial documentation.
- HR Intern: Assist with recruitment processes, HR records, and staff engagement activities.
- Research Intern: Conduct literature reviews, draft briefs, and support survey/data analysis.
- Marketing Intern: Support branding, campaign planning, and digital marketing content.
- Communications Intern: Draft newsletters, manage social media, and contribute to content creation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program (Business, Social Sciences, Finance, HR, Communications, Marketing, or related fields).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
- Interest in consulting, development, or humanitarian work.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions
- Duration: 3 months.
- Remote role (occasional virtual meetings).

General Requirements (All Associates)
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience (consulting, nonprofit, or private sector).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results remotely.
- Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and impact-driven work.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This role is based at HENAK CONSULTING’s Abuja office (onsite), with regular working hours.
- Fully remote role (with periodic physical retreats or client meetings if required).
- Flexible work hours based on deliverables.
- Requires a personal laptop and strong internet access.
- Willingness to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Occasional weekend work may be required based on client priorities.
