The above mentioned organization has vacancies in the following offices which are required to be filled immediately: Project Manager, WaSH Coordinator, WaSH Officer, Finance Officer, Human Resource Officer, Procurement and Logistics Officer and community Hygiene Promoters (CHPs) who are to work with the organization for the period of one year.

Sorasun Foundation (SRF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) none-bias, non-political, non-profit making, charitable based organization designed to render humanitarian and developmental programs in all ramification, as well as support and protect the most vulnerable who are victims of natural and manmade disaster, and to motivate people to live purposeful lives despite the challenges in Nigeria. With thematic areas across WaSH, Nutrition/Health, General protection, Education, Food security, Early recovery and Livelihood. Our head office located at Suite 022 Atiku Mall, Numan Road, Opposite Immigration Office, Yola Adamawa State.

Job Title: HR/Admin Officer

Location: Yola, Adamawa State

Duration: 12 Months

JOB SUMMARY

Sorasun Foundation is looking for an experienced and thorough HR and Administration Manager to ensure our operations run smoothly and improve as our organization grows.

You will be instrumental in the faultless running of the entire organization and will help us keep our staff happy and productive.

All the HR and administrative functions will be under your authority, and you will make sure your team delivers perfect service to the organization and its staff. We are looking for a strategist, a hands-on leader, and an exemplary manager. You will oversee a professional team of specialists and ensure they deliver outstanding results to the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Planning HR and administration activities annually
  • Setting, monitoring, and achieving HR targets
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, and exit procedures.
  • Overseeing the pay roll function
  • Ensuring full compliance with organization policies and procedures
  • Managing employee relations
  • Running the office and facilities management functions
  • Leading the HR and administration team
  • Coordinate other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, economics, business management and other related social sciences
  • At least five years’ experience in HR, two of which in a supervisory role
  • Expert business and organizational planning ability
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suites–Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Vast experience in team leadership
  • Successful experience in employee relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strategic thinking and decision ability

Proven ability to multi-task
