ASWHAN is the central coordinating body of all support groups of women living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. Our mandate includes, Coordinating, Advocacy, community intervention, resource mobilization and Research and Documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the application of proper internal control systems and accounting processes to facilitate financial monitoring and control in line with the donor Guidelines for Financial reporting and auditing of projects
- Ensure prudent financial management and value for money
- Ensure that all supporting documents in respect of financial transactions are adequately authorized and have correct information
- Ensure timely payment to staff, vendors, and statutory deductions
- Ensure all staff complies with the retirement process and timely retirement in line with organizational policy.
- Prepare and submit timely financial reports to NEPWHAN as the SR
- Ensure overall preparation of project accounting ledgers and project accounts by best practices and standards
- Ensures proper filing of all financial documents
- Assist with audit preparation
- Carries out any other tasks required by SR and PR Management
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
- 4-year degree/HND in accounting, finance and/or bookkeeping
- At least 3 years of experience as a finance officer in a NGO/CBO.
- 2 years of previous work experience in Global Fund HIV/TB/Malaria or PEPFAR grant
- 3 years of work experience in a NGO/CBO implementing HIV/TB/Malaria Interventions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Sound organization and planning abilities
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Budget management skills is a must
