Basic Function.
A Finance Intern is responsible for providing support to the finance department and gaining valuable hands-on experience in various finance-related tasks. This is a full-time, temporary position that provides an opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and develop essential skills in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
- Participate in budget preparation and monitoring
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes
- Help with the maintenance of accurate financial records
- Conduct research and data analysis to support various finance projects
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance with grade not below 2.1 and with a professional qualification of ACCA, ACA or ACMA with at least One year post-NYSC experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
