The Drug-Free and Preventive Healthcare Organization (DAPHO) is a prominent, drug-user-led, community-driven non-governmental organization in Nigeria dedicated to improving the lives of individuals who use, are affected by, or are vulnerable to drug and substance use. Originally formed in 2013 as the Council for Non-Violence Initiative, it was formally registered under its current name in June 2015.

The Role:
- The Finance Intern will support DAPHO’s financial operations while contributing to the effective management of funds for harm reduction and public health programs across Gombe State.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Support the preparation of vouchers, invoices, and expense reports. Help with data entry into accounting systems and spreadsheets.Assist in bank reconciliations and financial tracking
- Support budget monitoring and reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements.
- Fresh NYSC Graduate in Accounting only.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and willingness to learn.
