Field Enumerator At International Alert (Alert)

Field Enumerator At International Alert (Alert)

Background

International Alert (Alert) is one of the world’s leading peacebuilding organisations, with over 30 years of experience supporting communities, advising governments, organisations, and companies on how to build peace. International Alert works with people directly affected by conflict to build lasting peace. Together, we believe peace is within our power. We focus on solving the root causes of conflict, bringing together people from across divides. From the grassroots to policy level, we come together to build everyday peace.

Alert has worked in Nigeria since 2011, starting with work on security governance and conflict sensitivity technical assistance on the 5-year DFID-funded Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP) in Yobe state. In 2015, we extended our peacebuilding interventions in Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, Zamfara and Kaduna States.

Our peacebuilding work is built on research and conflict analysis that enables us to understand the root causes of violence and long-term solutions to conflict, and to work with our partners to support peaceful change.
