One Health Resilience Initiative (OHRI) is a registered Nigerian nonprofit organization (CAC/IT/8929397) formally incorporated in 2025. OHRI is dedicated to strengthening the wellbeing of people, animals, and the environment through integrated action.

Commitment: Full-time, 6–12 months (renewable)
Ensures OHRI adheres to all organizational policies, donor regulations, statutory requirements, and anti-fraud protocols. Supports risk management and governance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and risk assessments across all units.
- Develop and update compliance manuals, checklists, and training materials.
- Investigate reported incidents of fraud, misconduct, or policy violations.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (CAC, tax, NGO regulatory bodies).
- Support the Board and Internal Audit in governance and oversight functions.
- Prepare compliance reports and recommend corrective actions.
Specific Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or corporate governance.
- Knowledge of Nigerian nonprofit law, CAC regulations, and donor compliance requirements.
- High integrity, impartiality, and strong investigative skills.
- Commitment of 6–12 months minimum.

- Must be a Nigerian citizen or legal resident.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Strong commitment to OHRI\’s mission, vision, and core values (Resilience, Inclusivity, Stewardship, Integrity, Evidence, Collaboration).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hausa or local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in multicultural teams.
- Willingness to travel to field locations within assigned states, including rural and underserved communities.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, internet); advanced digital skills required for technical roles.
- Must possess a valid means of identification (National ID, Voter\’s Card, Driver\’s License, or International Passport).
