Role Summary

  • The Academy Business Development Manager Will Lead the FRAD Cisco Net-Acad and ensure the day to day running of the Academy,.
  • He/she will oversee fund raising initiative for the provision of free certifications to target population and lead training initiatives for other certification. 
  • The position holder will be responsible for all marketing related initiative which include but not limited to social media handle. 
  • The position will be responsible for liaison with other private sectors, the government and other bodies to strengthen the academy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage partnership with governments, NGOs and educational institutions
  • Develop Academy business plans and proposal for fund raising initiatives
  • Supervise and train instructors of the academy
  • Design Business promotional model to grow the academy
  • Build academy community, support local events ensure quality executions and deliverable from instructors
  • Train students in CCNA, IT Essential Cyber security, Internet of things
  • Support the training of Learners to take professional certifications
  • Work with the government ministries like the ministry of education in training provision
  • Attend Various instructors meeting within and outside the state
  • Coordinate survivors’ community reintegration and rehabilitation through improvement of relations with religious and traditional institutions, as well as other members of the community.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Degree in any field backed up with relevant Certifications.

Other Requirements/ Desired Skills:

  • IT certifications (CompTia, Microsoft, AWS, Data science, CCNA) etc
  • NCS membership
  • Previous experience managing education/ development projects in private, nonprofit or government sector
  • Excellent IT competence in various areas like, Networking, Software’s development and AI
  • Marketing and business development skills
  • Experience working with team.
