We federate 188 national human rights associations active in 116 countries. For us, the transformation of societies is primarily the responsibility of local actors. Our activities aim to strengthen their’action capacity and their influence.

The International Secretariat, which deploys FIDH’s missions on a daily basis, is composed of’an international team of 70 employees based in France and in several offices abroad’ (Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Netherlands,Thailand, Colombia, African continent), as well as consultants intervening punctually on different programs. It is structured in a Directorate of Operations and Programs and a Directorate of Advocacy as well as Support Directions (Communication, Finance, Fund Research, Human Resources..).

The Operations and Programs Department is in charge of operationalizing the strategy of FIDH. It implements thematic programs that are divided into many activities around the world: international missions of’ investigations and advocacy, judicial observations, organization of’events (seminars, webinar, conferences…) and of training.

We recruit :

UN.E ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICS ASSISTANT IN CSD 18 months

As an Administrative and Logistics Assistant within our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative and logistical operations of the Operations and Programs Directorate (DOP). You will support DOP in part of its daily administrative tasks and in the management and organization of its objectives.

Your tasks are as follows :

A. Administrative management

  • Contribute to ensuring good administrative coordination between the Directorate and the support directorates for the’organization and monitoring of missions and activities.
  • Ensure in particular the good follow-up with the accounting of the supporting documents and invoices related to the activities.
  • Coordinate and monitor the administrative and financial management of external activities and services (including consultancy contracts).
  • Maintain an effective folder management system to make it easier to share and recover files.

B. Logistical

  • Organize the logistics of travel and workshops (travel, booking, visa, appointment booking, identification of conference venues, interpretation, etc.)
  • Participate in the’ organization of meetings of the Directorate : agenda, organization of participation and interpretation, report, etc.
  • Maintain contact lists and ensure the sending of documents produced by the Offices of the Directorate.

C. Support for projects

  • Participate in the drafting of’actions plans and annual reports ;
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documents related to projects and activities ;
  • Organize and track the translation of documents.

PROFILE SOUGHT

  • Successful experience of 2 years minimum on a similar position, oriented administrative and logistical management – experience in international cooperation or NGO is a strong asset.
  • Good command of office tools – an experience with free software is a plus (LibreOffice, Thunderbird..).
  • Good oral and written capacity in French, English and Spanish
  • Methodical and organized ⋅ e
  • Diplomacy and ability to work effectively in ( team, especially remotely ) and to collaborate with external partners
  • Proactivity and ability to take initiatives to solve problems
  • Sensitivity and commitment to human rights

MODALITIES AND EMPLOYEE CONDITIONS

CDD 18 months based in Paris 11e with possibility telework

  • Salary from 30,000 € gross annual over 13 months according to experience.
  • 24 days of RTT per year.
  • Additional health care 100% supported by FIDH.
  • Restaurant securities with a face value of 9 €, 60% supported by the FIDH.
  • Sustainable mobility package for home travel – work
