Job Summary

  • We are seeking to hire an Accountant to ensure proper documentation and record keeping, sound fiscal practices, legal fiscal compliance, preparation of financial reports, amongst others.

Responsibilities
The Accountant’s roles will include:

  • Advising on legal fiscal compliance, Posting journal entries, updating financial statements, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash-flow statement, filing CAC and tax returns; maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, paying monthly payroll, and preparing financial reports (monthly and annually); Archiving expenses, records, receipts; scrutinizing requisitions, etc.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (with 2 – 3 years experience) are prerequisites for this position.
  • Prospective candidate must have a high level of attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, analytical ability, an ability to keep documents well organized, and an interest in finance.
  • She must also be vast in the use of accounting software, and be open to learn new accounting software and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to perform this role effectively.
  • Account Certifications are an added advantage.
  • Gender: Female.
