Objective.
The/the field focal point or field surveyor leader will be in charge of being the focal point of the team of pollsters that ACTED and Queens ’ University will have on the ground within the framework of collaboration to the execution of an ongoing research project. The pollster leader will track and real-time monitoring of everything that happens in field activities related to data collection. Securing the satisfactory execution of operations interrain, contributing to the achievement and fulfillment of the different phases of the project cycle of this study. Support is not excluded if required to collect information on the ground. In turn, data collection involves the execution of focus groups that allow the quantitative information to be triangulated. Objectives
- Participates in the planning of field activities led by the Manager and research assistants
- Accompany and monitor data collection activities in the field. Both quantitative and qualitative
- Support if required with the application of the data collection instrument.
- Establish a framework of commitment and responsibility with the groups of people surveyed and interviewed.
- It should establish communications with the communities where the interventions are carried out, allowing the sustained achievement of alliances with community leaders, and with the communities that participate in this study. This in order to safeguard data collection work in the field.
- Channel possible concerns of participants. This through the socialization of the complaint and conflict resolution mechanisms implemented by ACTED and Queen’s University for the purposes of this study.
- Internal coordination with the research team (organization and participation in meetings) to monitor the organization and execution of planned activities in the field.
- Manage and lead the team of pollsters on the ground. As well as in the work linked to the execution and leadership in the field of focus groups.

Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse
- Create and maintain an environment that prevents sexual exploitation and abuse, promoting the application of the zero tolerance policy and the ACTED code of conduct.

in the field, establishments of alliances with community leaders, capacity for mobilization in communities, etc.
- Previous experience at work in field context and with vulnerable groups ( will be an advantage ).

BOGOTÁ AND RIOHACHA SURVEYERS: OBJECTIVE. The ( interviewer / y ) will be primarily responsible for lifting and ensuring the quality of the data collection exercises. This within the framework of collaboration and development of a research project between Queen’s University and ACTED.
The project aims to know the differentiated impact of COVID / 19 between different population groups. In particular about population of women, LGBTIQ + community and people with disabilities. Similarly, data collection is estimated through the application of surveys to control groups. The selection and sample size criteria have already been established.
The team of pollsters will respond to him / her project manager and research assistant in the framework of this study
The ( interviewer ) team will be in charge of collecting information by conducting surveys of the aforementioned population groups, as well as the control samples planned for the study. Likewise, it will be responsible for the proper lifting, loading and safeguarding of said surveys and the information contained.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring the quality of the data collected in the field: Registration of surveys, monitoring of plans designed to collect data, monitoring of criteria related to sample number and size, distribution by quotas, among others.
- Contributes to the achievement of the goals established by ACTED on the number of surveys to be carried out
- It timely reports technical-operational problems that may arise during the lifting of the enclosures and proposes solutions to manage them, in coordination with the project manager, assistants and field leaders.
- It watches over the proper handling of the technological equipment arranged by ACTED and Queen’s University for lifting the sockets.
- The Lister ensures adherence to the humanitarian principles, policies, tools, processes, manuals, guidelines and codes of ACTED and Queen’s University.
- The Listener will keep strict reserve of all the information to which he has access and knowledge due to the development of surveys and that is private in nature, confidential or whose communication may cause harm, ensuring full compliance with the data protection policy and standard operating procedures of ACTED and Queen’s University. In turn, you must follow the technical and methodological guidelines that the ACTED team will impart during its trainings.
ACTED GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
ACTED will provide the files, accesses, information and tools necessary for surveys to be carried out effectively and with the expected qualities. Once the activities begin, ACTED will provide access to the technological devices for the application of the surveys to fill out the forms for each survey. ACTED will be responsible for mobilizing surveyors to communities for the application of the instruments, as well as hydration logistics.

- Affiliation with the contributory social security system as an independent contributor
- Social security payment is the responsibility of the contractor. Social security contribution base income is 40% of your total monthly income.
