Job Description

  • We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer with expertise in PHP and WordPress to join our dynamic team in Abuja.
  • As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and aligned with our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and WordPress.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Ensure high performance and availability of our websites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website problems.
  • Perform website updates and maintenance tasks.
  • Optimize websites for speed and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our websites are modern and competitive.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of PHP and WordPress projects.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the public health sector or with health-related web projects.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience with API integrations.
  • Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
