Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission, in accordance with the Nigerian Law, FRAD work in both humanitarian and development sector to build the resilience of Vulnerable populations through our interventions in thematic areas of WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Education and early recovery and livelihood. Over the years, FRAD has reached more than 19,000 children, men, women and girls through its various interventions.

Job Title – WASH/PROTECTION MANAGER
- Master’s degree in social science, law, psychology, health or relevant field
- Proficient in Microsoft office suites and Google workspace.
- Experience: at least 4- 6 years’ experience in implementing Protection/Nutrition and WASH Programs

Duties and Responsibility
Functions / Day to day activities:
- Lead and supervise the protection team and WASH team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the effective implementation of protection activities and the achievement of project objectives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the protection and WASH implementation in line with international standards and best practices, addressing the specific needs and vulnerabilities of target populations.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with communities, local authorities, and other stakeholders to promote community participation, empowerment, and community ownership of protection initiatives.
- Identify training needs and develop capacity-building initiatives for staff, partners, and community members and stakeholders.
- Monitor the implementation of protection activities, collect and analyze data on program indicators, and prepare regular reports to track progress, identify challenges, and document lessons learned.
- Coordinate closely with other sectors and organizations to ensure a holistic approach to protection and WASH programming
- Ensure the quality and integrity of protection services and interventions, adhering to humanitarian principles, codes of conduct, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensure Coordination with the MEAL department to ensure appropriate and quality response intervention
- Ensure coordination and supervision of all activities in the IDP camps and communities

Requirement:
- Must be honest, accountable, a good listener, able to work in a team, transparent and honest.
- Must have understanding and ability to action and communicate DEI principles in all activities.
- Must be computer literate, with a good knowledge of MS office suites and Google workspace.
- Bachelor’s degree in social science, with at least 4-6 years’ experience in similar role.
- Good report writing and workshop facilitation.
- Fluent in Hausa and local languages within the LGAs of implementation.
