Safe Haven Positivity Initiative (SHPI) emerged from a shared vision to address systemic gaps in mental health support for underserved communities. Initially a grassroots effort providing workshops and safe spaces for dialogue, it has grown into a multifaceted organization dedicated to education, empowerment, and sustainable change.

Role Description
- This is a part-time hybrid role for a Volunteer.
- The Volunteer will be responsible for organizing and facilitating workshops, providing mental health support, engaging in community outreach, supporting educational initiatives, and assisting with program development and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Experience with organizing events and workshops
- Knowledge of mental health support practices and community outreach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for education, empowerment, and community service
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in non-profit organizations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred
