ElSheeda Humanitarian Foundation, registered in 2023 with the Nigerian government (RN NO: 7270530) and active since 2020, focuses on improving the lives of vulnerable populations in Nigeria through youth human capital development and protection of children in and around school environments. EHF operates in both emergency and developmental contexts, addressing gaps that increase vulnerability. We are seeking passionate volunteers to transform lives through hands-on experience in fields such as Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Education, Youth Empowerment, Community Development, Health (SRH) and Nutrition, and Emergency Response. Location: Adamawa, Benue, and FCT.
Employment Type: Volunteer Contract
Contract Duration: 1 year
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
EHF offers a broad range of departments for volunteers to engage with, divided into three core areas:
- Operations: Includes Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Compliance, HR, and more.
- Programs: Encompasses all programming fields
- MEAL, Communication, and Research.
Requirements & Eligibility to Apply:
- Be enrolled or have graduated from a tertiary institution.
- Must enrol to volunteer for a minimum period of 6 months.
- Have a passion and commitment for humanitarian and developmental services.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work at least 3 times a week (9:00am to 3:00pm).
- Be committed to Action the EHF’s mission, values, and policies.
