Summary of Duties

  • The Videographer (Studio Support Officer) plays a key role in providing technical support across all aspects of studio management, ranging from videography services from pre-production to post-production.
  • Operates in the Master Control Room with studio equipment and software to deliver high-quality live broadcasts, utilizing audio mixers, switchers, and other digital tools.
  • Maintains a high level of dedication and technical expertise at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide videography services for all programs.
  • Work in the Master Control Room to provide livestreaming services.
  • Ensure all programs align with scripts and approved structures, including the appropriate use of inserts, event reports, news items, lower thirds, name tags, etc.
  • Perform pre- and post-production duties (video editing, colour-grading, audio quality, graphics integration, etc.).
  • Creatively develop program montages, adverts, and trailers using digital assets where needed.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain studio assets prior to escalation to advanced professionals.
  • Ensure optimal lighting and audio setup prior to any production.
  • Perform uploads of approved content on social media platforms.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a videographer.
  • B.Sc, HND, OND, or commensurate education.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information in a simple, precise, and concise manner.
  • Proven experience in broadcast technology, including audio/video editing software and teleprompters.
  • Experienced and hands-on in all technical aspects of film production.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
