This program provides refugees with access to higher education while offering comprehensive administrative, social, and financial support to ensure their success.
What is the UNIV’R Programme?
The UNIV’R scholarship aims to help refugees currently living in a first country of asylum pursue higher education in France. It provides them with a two-year Master’s degree at Sciences Po Paris, with support covering everything from tuition fees to living expenses. This initiative helps refugees rebuild their lives by empowering them through education.
Who Can Apply?
This scholarship is open to refugees who meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 19 and 40 years old at the time of application.
- Nationality: Open to refugees of all nationalities.
- Location: Must be living in a first country of asylum outside the European Union.
- Language Proficiency: The program is offered in English and French, so fluency in either language is required.
- Required Documents: You must provide a refugee certificate to apply.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
The UNIV’R Scholarship offers a full scholarship, covering all major expenses for the duration of the Master’s program:
- Tuition Fees
- Books and Study Materials
- Monthly Stipend (covering food and living expenses)

How to Apply?

Results Notification: Applicants will be notified of the scholarship outcomes by June 2025 via email.
Visa and Post-Study Opportunities
- Visa: Successful applicants will receive a long-stay student visa (VLS-TS), which also serves as their residence permit.
- Work While Studying: Students are allowed to work part-time during their studies in France.
- Post-Study Options: After completing the program, graduates may be eligible for a work permit or temporary residency in France.
Please note that this scholarship does not allow for family members to accompany the student during the study period.
