BACKGROUND:
Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. We are the changemakers, the peacemakers, the mighty of heart. Christian Aid works in more than 30 countries and has been operating in Nigeria since 2003. The Nigeria Country programme focuses on Governance and Rights, Climate Adaptation and Resilience, and Conflict Sensitivity.
Christian Aid Nigeria is in the process of compiling a comprehensive service providers/ vendor database. This necessitated the call for prequalification of vendors from all locations where Christian Aid operates. A consultancy firm is required to support with the review/ rating of submitted proposals and creating a comprehensive database for all eligible vendors using a template provided.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Working in collaboration with Christian Aid Nigeria operation team, the following guide the delivery of this service:
- To support with the review and rating of all submitted electronic copy proposals using the criteria provided (534 bids).
- To create a comprehensive vendor database for Christian Aid using the template provided as
per service categories and locations.
SPECIFIC DELIVERABLE:
- Reviewed and rated spreadsheet of all submitted proposals.
- Database of eligible vendors disaggregated by service areas and locations.
TIMELINES:
The specified tasks are to be delivered within 10 days.
CONSULTANT COMPETENCIES:
Christian Aid is seeking a consultancy firm with experience in handling similar responsibilities. Other requirements include:
- A reputable consultancy firms.
- Must have staff to support with the process.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in similar capacity.
- Evidence of registration with statutory regulatory agencies (CAC)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Accuracy of data is of great essence.
BUDGET AND TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT:
- The fee will be negotiated.
- 100% payment made upon satisfactory completion of the assignment.
- 10% withholding tax will be deducted at source from the total cost of the consultancy fee for a firm, and 5% for an individual.
- Consultancy firm is not allowed to use any information obtained during the assignment without express permission from Christian Aid.
