The Nigeria Country programme focuses on Health and Human Development, Democracy and Good Governance, Sustainable Livelihood, and humanitarian response. Christian Aid in Nigeria has continued to grow her Research profile in fulfilling her objective to contribute to generating valid evidence for demonstrating how operational research can inform policy strategies as well as programmatic designs. Following this growing research profile, Christian Aid Nigeria seeks to build a pool of enumerators to engage in her several data collection activities. To this end, we are seeking enumerators with requisite knowledge and experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), data quality assessment (DQA), and other forms of data management engagement across our multiple projects in Anambra, Kaduna, Plateau, Borno, Sokoto, Benue, Nasarawa, and Yobe states.
Key Responsibilities
• To support mapping, identification, and selection of prospective respondents
• Participate in reviews of data collection tools
• Implement Data collection plan
• Submit data to the central data server
• Report to the CA/Project study team.
Competencies and Expertise
• Graduates with B.Sc, HND or its equivalent in social sciences or related field
• Must be willing to work in any of the selected LGAs or project locations
• Prior experience working with an NGO
• Familiarity with M&E and programming for vulnerable population
• Demonstrate ability to write reports/ conduct data analysis
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection methods (especially in moderating FGDs and KII sessions)
• Familiarity with deploying mobile and digital devices and innovation in data collection
• Proven ability to maintain targets and deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of computer software – MS Office and Excel especially and or other statistical analysis software

Logistics
**Standard transportation support will be provided for the period of data collection, successful applicants will be expected to be domiciled within the vicinity of data collection as evidence of in-depth understanding of the language and target context and as such there will be no accommodation consideration for fieldwork. Daily field rate will be based on Christian Aid’s official approved rate for enumerators. (NB: All wages are subject to 5% tax deductions in compliance with Nigeria’s fiscal laws). Christian Aid will provide accommodation and per diem support in rare cases where enumerators will have to be moved out of their area of residence for field activities in locations where they are not able to return to their homes within a day.
