Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment and development of personalized physiotherapy plans under the supervision of the lead physiotherapist.
- Deliver hands-on physiotherapy sessions to children, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans in response to the child’s evolving needs.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Support and educate parents and caregivers on home-based exercises and mobility techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of each child’s therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate in training workshops, team meetings, and community outreach programs.
- Uphold a safe, inclusive, and supportive therapeutic environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to working with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of pediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, and developmental delays is an advantage.
- Must Reside in Lagos State
