Job Profile

  • To coordinate the A360 project implementation in the state and provide technical assistance to the state Ministry of Health through the Primary Health Care Management Board with policies and enabling environment for the integration of the MMA approach in the state’s adolescent sexual and reproductive health through the uptake of modern contraceptive and economic empowerment

Job Role
The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

  • Work with programme team to develop and share monthly operational work plans and budget for the A 360 activities activities in the state 
  • Implement and operationalize the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the promotion of BCC, monitoring and evaluation of program activities monthly.
  • Brainstorming with team members at all stages of plan formulation
  • Proposing and lobbying initiatives for the organization
  • Developing policy work and dissemination of advocacy briefs
  • Provide technical assistance to the state’s agencies (SMOH, SPHCDB, FP Unit and M&E officers) by building their capacity to analyze adolescent health data from the HMIS unit.
  • Facilitate and attend Adolescent SRH TWG meeting in the state quarterly and share report of meeting.
  • In partnership with State Ministry of Health and PHC Board, coordinate the integration of Adolescent FP service provision into state Supportive Supervision (SSV) quarterly and share report with HQ
  • Coordinate the state team to achieve 90% adoption & QoC rates projection for the A360 project monthly.
  • Coordinate the state team to achieve 75% conversion rate and unmet need satisfied projections for the A360 Project monthly.
  • Coordinate the state to achieve 35% mobilization rate projection for the A360 project monthly.
  • Coordinate the submission of monthly and quarterly state programme implementation reports on the Adolescent 360 project by 6th of the new month.
  • Lead the identification and documentation of at least 2 key learnings, best practices and human-interest stories from the implementation in the state
  • Lead in the identification and collaboration for partnerships (internal and external) to address sustainability, develop strategies and document quarterly
  • Lead in the dissemination of A360 activities to the state, LGA and community quarterly.
  • Lead in the data quality review and dissemination of A360 intervention to SMoH/PHC Board quarterly.
  • Document and share state specific adaptive implementation learnings quarterly.

Qualifications / Experience

  • A minimum of First Degree in Social Science, Public Health, Health Administration, Management, Social Work, or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of five 5 years experience with progressively increasing responsibility designing, implementing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability of previous experience leading a technical activity through evidence and data driven decision making;
  • Demonstrated ability through previous experience to establish and maintain productive working relationships with a wide network of partners and stakeholders;
