Job Title: Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract (4 Months with possibility of extension)
Job Summary
- The Stakeholder Engagement Officer will report to the Executive Director through the SVP Programme Manager.
- This role is critical in fostering and managing relationships with key stakeholders to promote the organization’s mission of supporting military personnel, veterans, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders, including partners, sponsors, collaborators, volunteers, and government organizations.
- Engage stakeholders on current and future projects of the organization, fostering collaboration and securing support.
- Facilitate the growth of the organization’s vision, seeking opportunities for funding, business development, and collaboration.
- Lead the implementation of approved projects, programs, and initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder involvement.
- Maintain accurate records of organizational activities and provide timely reports to support management decisions.
- Facilitate meetings and deliver presentations to stakeholders, representing the organization in various forums.
- Manage both traditional and digital platforms to promote the organization’s initiatives and meet marketing objectives.
- Provide executive assistance as needed to support the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure the achievement of the organization’s financial, customer, internal process, learning, and growth goals following the Balanced Scorecard approach.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND/BSc in Social Sciences, Management Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, stakeholder relations, or program management, preferably in the nonprofit or service sector.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, integrity, and passion for the role.
