Job Title: Senior Technical Adviser, Programs and Clinical Quality

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Profile

  • Senior Technical Adviser Programs and Clinical Quality Lead will support the management to deliver quality services across the state programs.
  • He/She will be responsible for coordinating and mobilizing all programs activities across the states to ensure they are successfully implemented to meet programme goals and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide programme implementation support and day-to-day management, supervision, professional guidance, support and development to field-level staff both at facility and community levels.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on data systems and dashboards to support the implementation and management of the programme and contribute to the analysis, synthesis, and reporting of project outcomes and results.
  • Assist in growing the organization’s capacity to provide quality, responsive services through contributing to funding applications /tenders, reports, evaluation, staff training and development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures, systems and services.
  • Work collaboratively with Diadem finance team to prepare and track the progress of activities and budget utilization and ensure that project operations are in alignment with organizational policy and procedures.
  • Provide timely updates and progress reports (including targets vs. achievements).
  • Ensure 100% of Patient Biometric System of all clients currently on treatment, timely and holistic data entry on the Electronic Medical Records and upload to the National Data Repository.
  • Ensure team utilization of innovative strategies such as virtual spaces, Index testing and Differentiated service delivery for case identification, retention and viral load suppressions.

Qualifications / Experience

  • University Degree in MBBS, Public Health or related field of study.
  • Must have Masters in Public Health, International Health or related field of study.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in HIV Programs.
  • Experience managing projects with a combination of facility and community based interventions.
  • Experience managing projects with a focus on behavior change
  • Demonstrated track-record with project management, monitoring and evaluation
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, SPSS and NDR at the minimum.
  • Demonstrable evidence of designing and implementing hospital and field based HIV Programs.
  • Demonstrable evidence of overseeing multiple programs across different states/regions.
  • Other computer skills will be of added advantage
  • Possess relevant industry experience in the non-governmental organization health programming sector.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English.
