We are seeking compassionate, responsible, and dedicated healthcare professionals to join our care team and provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents and clients receiving nursing home and home-care services.

Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the health, wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life of residents and clients while working closely with families, caregivers, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Monitor residents\’ health status, vital signs, symptoms, and general wellbeing.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records.
  • Assist with wound care, catheter care, feeding support, and other nursing procedures within the scope of practice.
  • Identify changes in residents\’ conditions and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and update individual nursing care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
  • Provide health education and support to residents and their families.
  • Promote residents\’ dignity, independence, privacy, and quality of life.
  • Ensure infection prevention and control standards are consistently maintained.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and arrange referrals or hospital transfers when necessary.
  • Supervise and guide auxiliary nurses and caregivers.
  • Participate in shift handovers and care reviews.
  • Communicate professionally with residents\’ families regarding care and wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the role as assigned.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification.
  • Current registration/licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • Previous experience in nursing homes, home care, or long-term care is an advantage.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centred approach.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise other care staff.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
