About the Role
- This is a volunteer, remote position designed for professionals who are passionate about improving equitable access to prosthetic and orthotic services through structured coordination and professional engagement.
- The Foundation does not provide direct clinical services. Instead, we work to strengthen referral pathways, provider communication, and public awareness.
Key Responsibilities
As a Volunteer Associate, you will:
- Support coordination with verified prosthetic clinics and providers
- Assist in organizing beneficiary case information (non-clinical coordination)
- Contribute to educational awareness initiatives
- Support professional communication within the provider network
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in all activities
You will report directly to the Prosthetics & Orthotics Technical Lead.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have training or professional background in Prosthetics & Orthotics
- Are early-career practitioners or recent graduates
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical responsibility
- Have strong communication and organizational skills
- Are able to commit consistent volunteer time remotely
