Purpose of Job
- The Project Driver is expected to support project logistics. The Project Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe logistics of staff and project commodities.
Job Description
- Convey project staff to their destinations within/outside the primary project location.
- Daily inspection of the vehicle.
- Keep the vehicle clean at all times.
- Keep a logbook.
- Register fuel purchase and consumption in the logbook and on purchase receipts.
- Maintain the office vehicle and report to the SPO.
- Submit a monthly car maintenance report to the admin manager.
- Update vehicle particulars.
- Collect/drop off visitors from/at the airport.
- Ensure the safety of office staff/consultants (and persons traveling for and on behalf of KNCV) while traveling with the official vehicle.
- Perform other additional duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent English language and native language skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license for relevant vehicles
- A minimum of 5 years’ driver experience.
- Able to work autonomously and organize own schedule to accomplish the expected tasks.
- Auto mechanics knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team.
- Integrity and transparency are essential for this position.
- Capable of working well under pressure.
