Purpose of Job

  • The Project Driver is expected to support project logistics. The Project Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe logistics of staff and project commodities.

Job Description

  • Convey project staff to their destinations within/outside the primary project location.
  • Daily inspection of the vehicle.
  • Keep the vehicle clean at all times.
  • Keep a logbook.
  • Register fuel purchase and consumption in the logbook and on purchase receipts.
  • Maintain the office vehicle and report to the SPO.
  • Submit a monthly car maintenance report to the admin manager.
  • Update vehicle particulars.
  • Collect/drop off visitors from/at the airport.
  • Ensure the safety of office staff/consultants (and persons traveling for and on behalf of KNCV) while traveling with the official vehicle.
  • Perform other additional duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent English language and native language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver’s license for relevant vehicles
  • A minimum of 5 years’ driver experience.
  • Able to work autonomously and organize own schedule to accomplish the expected tasks.
  • Auto mechanics knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team.
  • Integrity and transparency are essential for this position.
  • Capable of working well under pressure.
