Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission, in accordance with the Nigerian Law, FRAD work in both humanitarian and development sector to build the resilience of Vulnerable populations through our interventions in thematic areas of WASH, Nutrition, Protection, Education and early recovery and livelihood. Over the years, FRAD has reached more than 19,000 children, men, women and girls through its various interventions.

Job Title – Project Assistant
Educational Qualification: BSc/HND in Health Education, Nutrition, any other related courses in social sciences. With at least 2 year experience in community engagement, project implementation or any related field. Fluent in English and at least one of the local language.

Duties and Responsibility
- Manage WASH volunteers, IYCF counselors and Hygiene promoters
- Supervise emergency response and provide support to WASH community volunteers, Hygiene promoter and IYCF Counselor
- Support in provision of one on one counseling to PLW with mental instability
- Conduct MHPSS activities for PLW, ensuring active participation
- Provide lifesaving response to Households affected with floods
- Supervise hygiene promotion activities , ensuring practical demonstration
- Provide training to WASH volunteers, Hygiene promote and IYCF counselors
- Represent FRAD in coordination meetings and provide feedback to the emergency response officer.
- Submit weekly and monthly report to the emergency response officer
- Schedule volunteers monthly payments
- Work on any other assigned responsibilities by the management.
Requirement:
- Experience in managing people
- Proven knowledge on WASH and IYCF
- Experience in MS word, Excel and power point
- Fluent in English both spoken and oral, Kanuri will be an added advantage
- Experience in MS word, Excel and power point
