Restorative Justice for Africa Initiative is a youth-led NGO bridging the access to justice gap in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa through rendering pro bono legal assistance to indigent inmates behind bars and using restorative justice mechanisms to resolve the harm committed.

Job Title: Programs Officer
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Programs Officer will be responsible for coordinating and implementing various programs related to restorative justice, criminal justice reforms, and policy advocacy.
- This role will also involve developing program strategies, liaising with stakeholders, organizing events, and monitoring program outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, International Development, or related field
- Experience in program coordination and implementation (program management experience with a nonprofit is an additional advantage).
- Knowledge of restorative justice principles and criminal justice reforms
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Advocacy and community engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
