Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of health workforce productivity tracking, integrated facility & workforce systems, and biometric attendance workstreams, ensuring alignment with state and national priorities.
- Translate technical strategies into detailed, state-level workplans from pilot transition through statewide rollout.
- Oversee registry integration, biometric readiness assessments, phased pilots, and system scale-up, ensuring governance-first and validation-before-rollout approaches.
- Coordinate training and ongoing support for facility and LGA staff on registries, productivity tools, dashboards, and data validation.
- Establish and maintain governance routines for data use at facility, LGA, and state levels.
- Supervise analytical work on workforce productivity, workload benchmarking, and decision-support insights for state leadership.
- Ensure interoperability between attendance, workforce, facility, payroll, and national registry systems (NHFR, NHWR).
- Facilitate stakeholder coordination across health, finance, ICT, and digital health partners.
- Lead documentation of implementation experiences, case studies, learning products, and donor reports.
- Promote sustainable, state-owned systems and a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Digital Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in health systems strengthening, digital health, public- sector reform, or donor-funded programs.
- Proven experience implementing workforce registries, biometric attendance systems, or large-scale digital health platforms in government settings.
